Today I was reminded that in 2 days I turn 23. I think about it as not growing older, but wiser…haha! I am still amazed at the number of responses I have received over the last few weeks since I wrote about the Kenya trip. I am thankful for everyone who has showed an interest and even put this trip on your prayer list.
The big question I have received lately is: “What do you want for your birthday?” Honestly, I have a long list of things I would like for myself; a functional laptop right now would be great so I don’t have to make countless trips to the school library… 
However, for this birthday, there are 2 things I need. One would be your prayers for this trip and the second would be for you to adopt an item from the list of things needed for this trip. You could do it individually or even with your church group, friend circle, class, family, or student group. It is such a blessing to see the Lord move and I believe He will meet all these needs.
